Identifying Fakes
Lately I received a few fake items and I wanted to review a few of them here for a bit to remind everyone how careful you need to be when buying from any reseller. I say any because the “Chanel” wallet that you see below was purchased from a known reputable reseller online and when the client gave it to me for consignment I simply could not accept it. I wrote a letter on her behalf to state why I believe it is an unauthentic item so she can receive her refund. Here is the wallet:

Look closely at the zipper pull. A leather zipper pull on a Chanel wallet should have rounded corners and stitching around the trim such as the one below purple iridescent:

AuthenticAnother bag I received was the following Louis Vuitton bag but this one was an obvious fake. See the sloppy stamping and monogram. You can also see a difference in the color of the canvas to an authentic bag.
